Version 2.0 was a monumental rewrite, and when you rebuild an entire platform from scratch, a few things are bound to slip through the cracks. v2.01 is one of our cleanup passses, small in version number, but significant in the polish it delivers. We hunted down the visual glitches, the broken links, and the duplicate data that snuck in during the rebuild.
Fix
Broken Image Placeholders Eliminated: During the 2.0 infrastructure overhaul, some image paths got lost in translation. Posters, backdrops, episode thumbnails, and cast and crew photos were rendering as empty containers with those unfinished, awkward loading blocks. This is what makes a site feel broken even when it is not. We have tracked down and corrected every single one. Your library should now look as visually rich as it was always meant to be.
Fix
Footer Links Actually Go Places Now: We will be honest, this one was embarrassing. Several menu items in the footer were linked to nowhere, sitting there like decorative text pretending to be useful. Every link has now been properly routed to its correct destination. The footer is once again fully functional, not just fully present.
Fix
Duplicate Cast and Crew Entries Removed: A data migration quirk introduced during the rebuild caused some cast and crew members to appear multiple times across movie and TV show pages. It made certain productions look suspiciously overstaffed. We have deduplicated these entries, so each person now appears exactly once, as they should.
Fix
"Remember Me" Is Back: We removed it in 2.0 thinking we were being minimal. We were wrong. Being forced to sign in every single time was, to put it politely, a pain in the ass. The "Remember Me" option has returned to the sign-in form. Check the box, stay signed in, and never let us take that convenience away from you again.
Every release, no matter how small, brings us closer to the vision. v2.01 may not be flashy, but it is the kind of update that makes CINERS feel solid. The kind where everything just works the way you expect it to. We are still hard at work on mobile responsiveness, and we know many of you are patiently waiting for it. It is coming, and when it lands, it will be worth it. Thank you for sticking with us while we get every detail right.
