An aspiring journalist reluctantly gets a position as the personal assistant to Miranda Priestly, the editor-in-chief of Runway magazine. As Andy learns to put up with Miranda's excessive demands and humiliating treatment for the course of a year, she learns to make personal sacrifices while discovering her own ambition.
