I watched the first episode, and had trouble finishing it. It's all so ... lifeless, by the numbers, formulaic; it's the opposite of "gripping" and "immersive". Maybe they had a bad start? Maybe. But it doesn't give off the "vibe" of a slow start, or hidden potential. Some will see its appeal. To me, pity about the wasted potential.
