The adventures of Ragnar Lothbrok, the greatest hero of his age. The series tells the sagas of Ragnar's band of Viking brothers and his family, as he rises to become King of the Viking tribes. As well as being a fearless warrior, Ragnar embodies the Norse traditions of devotion to the gods. Legend has it that he was a direct descendant of Odin, the god of war and warriors.

Vikings is somewhat based on History, but either way, it's an excellent show with awesome Characters & I love the Actors in it. The locations & sets are perfect, the action outstanding, even if you don't like this kind of show, I would suggest it to anyone to give it a try. Once you get to know the people in it & get into the story, & it takes a few episodes, but once it gets rolling it's an overall awesome experience. 10/10 Rating for me.
